Supply Quality Engineer (m/f/d) - Development

MinebeaMitsumi Development Center Košice (MDCK) is the Slovak branch of MinebeaMitsumi Technology Center Europe with the main mission in the development of different innovative products and energy saving technologies for automotive, industrial and other customers.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Product development and project management support with regard to purchasing requirements and the quality of supplied components and related risks
- Initiative of improvement measures within supplier management, assessment of effectiveness and, if necessary, implementation and monitoring of corrective measures
- Implementation and assessment of preliminary quality planning for new projects in cooperation with suppliers according to APQP or similar procedures
- Analyzing quality standards with suppliers, creating a strategy for the PPAP process ("first article" inspection reports, defining a strategy for the verification of dimensions/parameters of supplied components, including Cp / CpK requirements)
- Performing process audits according to VDA 6.3 and QAA (Quality Assurance Agreement) with suppliers (complete qualification process according to the requirements of IATF16949 / VDA 6.3, risk analysis)
- Implementation of team training in the field of supplier quality
- Ensuring and fulfilling KPIs on the part of the supplier, he is also responsible for checking and accepting supplier 8D reports and evaluates suppliers
- Support of ECR (Engineering Change Request) processes on the supplier's side
- Supporting claims management tasks related to supply processes, ensures improvements on the supply side, defines a strategy for improving supplied components using all necessary quality tools (8D report, risk analysis, corrective and preventive action plans)
- Control and management of the life planning process for production tools and equipment, ensures risk assessment, periodic qualifications of tools and equipment and approval for the next production period
Required skills and experience:
- University education (Bachelor's/ Master's degree) in electrical engineering, technical and IT field
- English language (B2)
- Previous experience in the field of quality or in a similar position
