Software Quality Engineer (R&D)

The research and development centre in Košice - MDCK (MinebeaMitsumi Development Centre Košice) collaborates very closely with the MinebeaMitsumi Technology Center Europe GmbH in Germany. Salary (gross): 1,400 - 2,600 EUR/month (depending on experience and knowledge)

Job description, responsibilities and authorities

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will ensure the highest standards of software integrity by overseeing development processes and implementing robust quality assurance measures. You will act as a key liaison between development teams and customers, conducting audits and monitoring metrics to drive continuous improvement in our innovative R&D projects.

  • Overseeing and supporting software development teams in defining and implementing development processes with a focus on software quality assurance measures.
  • Monitoring and reporting the status of quality and measures to the development team and management.
  • Ensuring high software quality through regular audits, assessments, and tracking process metrics.
  • Coordinating quality requirements with customers.
  • Reporting on quality measures to the customer.

Personal requirements and skills

  • Knowledge of process analysis and evaluation, as well as maturity models such as MISRA and Automotive SPICE (an advantage).
  • Independently structured working style and initiative.
