Hardware Design Lead (m/f/d)

Based in Erdweg near Munich, U-Shin Deutschland Zugangssysteme GmbH acts as a competence center with global research and development responsibility in the areas of mechatronics and access mechanisms, whose product portfolio includes door locks, steering column locks, door handles and power closure systems.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Development of embedded systems in the automotive field
  • Participation in requirements analysis and implementation of designs according to ISO26262
  • Compliance with hardware development processes
  • Creation and evaluation of hardware specifications according to customer and product requirements
  • Design responsibility for electronics incl. optimization with regard to robustness, EMC and costs
  • Planning and target tracking of hardware development with regard to deadlines and resources
  • Creation, review and evaluation of test plans for hardware verification and EMC validation
  • Hardware integration into the overall mechatronic system and support for hardware-software integration
  • Active participation in review and project meetings as well as reporting of hardware development status
  • Participation in the project proposal phase

Required skills and experience:

  • Completed engineering studies in a suitable discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in hardware development
  • Experience with embedded systems, ideally knowledge of power electronics and bus systems such as CAN and LIN
  • Experience with functional safety (ISO26262) is an advantage
  • Determination, analytical thinking and initiative
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Language skills in English and German
