Based in Erdweg near Munich, Minebea AccessSolutions Deutschland GmbH acts as a competence center with global research and development responsibility in the area of access mechanisms. Our product portfolio includes electronic steering column locks, door handles and automatic power closure systems for different applications around the vehicle.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Define & monitor quality and reliability objectives in projects according to customer and product requirements
- Planning, monitoring & steering of quality assurance and improvement activities in projects
- Definition of controls and standards based on risk analysis results (e.g. FMEA)
- Planning, execution & monitoring of QRQC- PDCA activities as well as process and system audits
- Management of validation activities and customer release as part of the initial sample process
- Preventive monitoring of development activities to avoid internal and customer incidents
- Ensuring customer contacts by participating in customer visits in defining quality and reliability targets
- Handling customer complaints and planning preventive actions
- Expert function within the Q-network
Required skills and experience:
- Degree in engineering or industrial engineering with good technical understanding
- Professional experience in the quality or manufacturing sector with regular customer contact, ideally in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of quality tools (FTA / PDCA, QRQC, 8D method, APQP, FMEA, SPC) and quality standards (ISO TS 16949)
- Auditor training according to VDA 6.3 advantageous
- Problem-solving skills, confident appearance, determination, openness, communication skills, initiative
- Fluent German and English
