Product Development Project Manager (R&D)
The research and development centre in Košice - MDCK (MinebeaMitsumi Development Centre Košice) collaborates very closely with the MinebeaMitsumi Technology Center Europe GmbH in Germany. Job description, responsibilities and authorities
As a Product Development Project Manager, you will take end-to-end responsibility for the product lifecycle during the R&D phase, ensuring that innovative engineering projects meet quality, cost, and timeline targets. You will serve as a strategic lead, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing international customer relations to drive the continuous optimization and successful delivery of high-tech solutions.
- Responsibility for product development during the R&D phase, overall project accountability including costs, deadlines, and adherence to current development processes and quality standards.
- Communication with customers, including reviewing and modifying customer specifications.
- Assessing the technical and planning feasibility of projects; detailed project planning with all relevant development departments.
- Leading regular meetings between development teams both locally and abroad.
- Responsibility for the continuous improvement of active products, including optimization for higher quality and better production.
- Planning and coordinating transfers to the customer or production site.
- Supporting complaint management, change requests, etc.
- Responsibility for updating DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) of developed products based on acquired experience.
