PCBA Pilot Production Engineer (m/f/d)  - Development

MinebeaMitsumi Development Center Košice (MDCK) is the Slovak branch of MinebeaMitsumi Technology Center Europe with the main mission in the development of different innovative products and energy saving technologies for automotive, industrial and other customers.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Responsibility for the production of R&D prototypes
  • Implementation of the request for the preparation of R&D prototypes
  • Defining and verifying suitability of SMT components
  • Creating shopping baskets for components and securing the necessary material for production
  • Performing manual soldering
  • Ensuring complete setup, programming, operation and maintenance of SMT equipment
  • Carrying out inspection of manufactured prototypes according to IPC and J-STD requirements
  • Solving the cause of insufficient soldering and suggesting solutions
  • Reporting the results to the head of the Development Laboratory
  • Responsible for the warehouse of SMT components and the database of the warehouse

Required skills and experience:

  • University education (Bachelor's degree) or university education (Master's degree) or university education (Doctorate degree) in electronics, automotive electronics, electrical engineering, technologies in electronics
  • English - Intermediate (B2)
  • Good knowledge of electronic circuits
  • Strong testing skills
  • Soldering and testing skills
  • Ability to solve technical problems
  • Good spoken and written communication skills to present test results
  • Attention to details

  • Analytical and logical thinking
  • Knowledge of the German language is an advantage
  • Critical thinking ability: the ability to detect problems, to be able to offer solutions to a problem from different points of view
