Embedded Software Architect (m/w/d)

Based in Erdweg near Munich, U-Shin Deutschland Zugangssysteme GmbH acts as a competence center with global research and development responsibility in the areas of mechatronics and access mechanisms, whose product portfolio includes door locks, steering column locks, door handles and power closure systems.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Responsibility for the software architecture and software design of control units in vehicle access systems
  • Development of software concepts with consideration of functional safety and the goal of high availability
  • Design of reusable SW components and SW interfaces based on UML/sysML and AUTOSAR and use of established architecture patterns such as layered architectures and component-oriented design
  • Development of optimal solutions in terms of reusability and resource efficiency
  • Support in the preparation of proposals and concepts for new projects
  • Responsible support of processes in the area of software architecture and participation in assessments (Automotive Spice)

Required skills and experience:

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable education
  • Several years of experience in embedded software development and software architecture in the automotive environment
  • Very good understanding of real-time operating systems and microcontroller architectures
  • Experienced handling of safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262) as well as experience in requirements management
  • Knowledge of Automotive Spice or CMMI processes
  • Experience in dealing with intercultural teams as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
  • Initiative, systematic and structured way of working
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
