EMC Laboratory Engineer (R&D)

Job description, responsibilities and authorities

In this role, you will be the technical guardian of product compliance, ensuring that our innovative electronic solutions meet the highest standards of electromagnetic compatibility. You will manage the entire testing lifecycle—from planning and measurement in our specialized CISPR 25 lab to analyzing results and advising design teams on technical improvements.

  • Performing EMC measurements of products in the CISPR 25 EMC laboratory, analyzing and evaluating results based on defined test criteria.
  • Preparing test plans according to EMC standards and customer specifications.
  • Preparing setups and creating test configurations in EMC software.
  • Proposing solutions for EMC issues to HW/SW design teams.
  • Reviewing test documentation.
  • Managing the maintenance of EMC laboratory equipment.
  • Preparing test reports.
  • Assisting in setting up procedures in accordance with ISO 17025.

Personal requirements and skills

  • Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
  • Good understanding of factors affecting RF emissions and immunity.
  • Knowledge of EMC standards (mainly automotive and industrial) and experience with EMC antennas are highly welcome.
  • Experience using laboratory instruments such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, multimeter, etc.
  • Experience with EMC tests such as: BCI, Mobile Transmitters, Radiation with Antenna, Stripline methods, Magnetic field immunity and emission, Transients, ESD, AN, RE is highly welcome.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
