As a Deputy CFO (m/f/d) you are responsible for our European Network. We employ nearly 8.000 people europeanwide. Our European Top Management is located in Villingen-Schwenningen. Therefore, we prefer to hire in Villingen-Schwenningen.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Providing strategic support and guidance on key business decisions, including analyzing financial data and providing recommendations to optimize performance
- Strong drive to process improvement to ensure processes are fit for purpose and can support the growth of the group in Europe
- Preparation of monthly reports for Europe operation ( none consolidated) to IFRS
- Coordination and review of annual financial statements
- Review of the European Companies finance budget (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statement, Cash Flow.)
- Support, guidance and coordination of the individual accounting and finance departments in Europe – operation related
- Direct report to the European CFO
Required skills and experience:
- Several years of experience in financial accounting / controlling, in a leading position in an international environment
- Experience in IFRS accounting standards and tax law
- Extensive knowledge of consolidation and controlling
- Confident handling of SAP as well as MS-Office.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Structured and independent work approach
- High attitude towards quality and accurateness
- High level of self-organization and analytical working methods
- Reliability and flexibility
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Willingness to travel
- English proficiency is mandatory
- Skills in German or any other European language will be advantage
